ATTORNEY JOHN CASELLA

Attorney John Casella earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New College of Florida in 1980 (the Honors College of the State University System of Florida) and his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1982.

Attorney Casella is admitted to the Florida Bar, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He was formerly an Assistant State Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit, Sarasota County, Florida.

Attorney Casella is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association. He is past chairman of the Grievance Committee of the 12th Judicial Circuit, has served on the Board of Directors of the Sarasota County Bar Association, and was a member of the Venice Code Enforcement Board. He has been appointed to and is currently serving on the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court’s inaugural Local Professionalism Panel. Attorney Casella is also a lifetime member of the Christian Trial Lawyers Association, an organization that serves to advance Christian principles as they co-exist with the practice of legal work and to demonstrate professional competence and godliness while defending Christian values in the public sector.

He has practiced in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death claims for the past 30 years and has successfully tried personal injury cases and negotiated settlements for injured persons in the Sarasota, Charlotte, and Manatee County areas.
